Features
White amorphous powder, non-toxic and tasteless, insoluble in water, soluble in HCl and other inorganic acids. Insoluble in water and alkali solutions, it decomposes into zirconium dioxide and water at 500 ° C.
1. The neutralization method uses zirconium oxychloride and NH3 water as raw materials to prepare zirconium hydroxide: Under stirring at room temperature, pure NH3 water is slowly added into 0.2 ~ 0.3 mol/L high purity zirconium oxychloride solution, and the solution is neutralized until pH = 8 ~ 8.5, and then washed with pure water until no chloride ion (Cl-) is present. The product is obtained after filtration and separation, and the cake is dried at 120 ºC.
