Cerium Chloride, also known as Cerium(III) chloride, is cerium chloride anhydrous or a multi-aqueous compound of cerium chloride, which irritates the eyes, respiratory system, and skin. Cerium chloride is used in petroleum catalysts, automobile exhaust catalysts, intermediate compounds, and other industries. It is also used to make metal cerium.
